Thessaloniki Aeroclub was founded in 1930 and is the oldest aeroclub in Greece. It's seat, offices and hangars are located inside the premises of Thessaloniki International Airport "Makedonia" (N40.31.11/E022.58.15), just 15 km east of the city of Thessaloniki, which is the second most populated city in Greece (pop. 1,5 mil). Thessaloniki Aeroclub is a private non-profit society, whose main objectives are to increase aviation culture in general, offer Private Pilot's License training and the joy of flying to it's members, as well as participate in sports activities and races involving aeroplanes.
Our fleet consists of five Cessnas, of which 3 are C-172 and the other 2 are C-182. All our aeroplanes are considerably new and very well maintained by our own engineers. Pilots from all over Europe are welcome to become members and fly with our aeroplanes. The registration cost is 100 Euro (paid once at enrolment) and the annual fee is 160 Euro (paid every year of active membership).
